The Reverend Alfred George Prichard (12 June 1869 - 8 December 1945) was a Congregational Minister and politician.
Born in Blackfriars, he was the son of councillor George Prichard and Ellen Mollett, daughter of the Reverend George Mollett Murphy.
After training at theological college, he became pastor of a church in Norfolk in 1893. In 1897 he returned to London to found Little Ilford Congregational Church. In 1908 he founded Battersea Free Church, of which he was minister until 1938.
He became a member of Battersea Borough council, and he was Mayor of Battersea in 1929-30.
In 1928 he was elected to the London County Council as a Labour Party councillor representing Islington West. He held the seat until his death. At the 1929 general election he unsuccessfully stood for election to parliament as Labour candidate for Chelsea.
He died at his home in Battersea in 1945, aged 76.
