Dr Alfred Salter (16 June 1873 – 24 August 1945) was a British medical practitioner and Labour Party politician.
A Progressive Party member of the London County Council elected unopposed 10 March 1906 representing Southwark (Bermondsey).
He was elected to Bermondsey Borough Council in 1903, and was also a member of the local board of guardians.
Married to Ada Salter.
In Bermondsey Station there is an information board about him - his practice was on the site.
