Blackwall is a Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station in Blackwall, London, located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and is in Travelcard Zone 2. Opened on 28 March 1994, on the site of Poplar railway station.

History[edit | edit source]

The DLR station opened, with the Beckton Branch, on 28 March 1994, becoming the last stop before the western terminus of the new branch at Poplar before the line was extended west to Westferry.

The station was originally planned to be connected to the London Underground via the Jubilee Line extension to Thamesmead.
