Charles Donaldson Hudson (12 February 1840 – 18 April 1893) was a Conservative Party politician who served a single term on the London School Board.

Born as Charles Donaldson, he assumed the additional surname of Hudson in 1862 by royal licence as heir to his uncle Thomas Hudson. He also inherited his uncle's estates on boundaries of Shropshire and Staffordshire.

In 1876 he was elected to the London School Board as one of the representatives of Westminster. He was a member of the "Church Party" that supported denominational education. He did not defend his seat at the next school board elections in 1879.

He entered parliamentary politics: having failed to gain a seat in the Commons at a by-election in 1878, he was elected a member of parliament in 1880. He stood down due to ill health at the 1885 general election.

He died, aged 53, at his Shropshire home.
