Ivy Molly Bolton (née Schmidt) (1897-2 January 1991) was a Labour Party member of the London County Council.

Born in St Pancras, from the age of 18 she was active in Labour politics and was a member of the London Co-Operative Society and the Fabian Society.

Bolton joined the Fabian Society in 1916, and became private secretary to Beatrice and Sydney Webb. She then became secretary of the Fabian Local Government and Research Bureau, and assistant editor of Local Government News, and served on the society's executive committee.

In 1922 she married Douglas J Bolton.

From 1934-49 she was a councillor representing Hackney North, from 1949-52 for Hackney North and Stoke Newington and was an alderman from 1952 until the council's abolition in 1965.

She was appointed Vice Chairman of the London County Council in May 1953. In November 1953 the chairman, Sir Arthur Middleton, died and she served the rest of the 1953-54 term as chairman. She was a member of Crawley New Town Development Corporation for 15 years.
