John Jacob Dunnett (24 June 1922-26 October 2019), known as Jack Dunnett, was a British Labour Party politician.

Educated at Whitgift School, Croydon and Cambridge University, during the Second World War he served as an officer in the Cheshire Regiment, seeing action in Italy.

Councillor on Middlesex County Council 1958-61 (representing Brentford and Chiswick East) and on Enfield Borough Council 1958-61, serving as an alderman until 1963. Member of the Greater London Council: Hounslow 1964 – 1967 and a member of parliament for Nottingham 1964-83.
