The London Wiki is a collaborative encyclopedia for everything related to Greater London and the surrounding area. The wiki format allows anyone to create or edit any article, so we can all work together to create a comprehensive database for all London residents and those interested in London.Somewhat more flexibility is allowed than in Wikipedia - so long as it is London related: lists of walks, interesting bus trips, 'places associated with a particular topic' etc.

Areas open for persons willing to take them on:

• Categorising localities
• Parks, gardens and other open areas.
• Sport
• Transport

There is a particular emphasis on the history of London's government and those participating in it.

It should be noted that London Wiki is not intended to be a gazetteer - and links should be to material that substantially adds to the entry.
