Millwall is an area of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and located on the Isle of Dogs, it was originally known as Marshwall. It lies to the immediate south of Canary Wharf and Poplar, north of Greenwich and Deptford, east of Rotherhithe, west of Cubitt Town, and has a long shoreline along London's Tideway, part of the River Thames. Millwall is most famous for its football club, Millwall F.C., founded in 1885 as the Millwall Rovers.

Millwall is the location of Island Gardens, The Quarterdeck, the Lord Nelson pub and Great Eastern's Launch Ramp.
