The street is inside the Virginia Estate, and is the location of Noah’s Ark Community Nursery.[1]
History
In 2013, EastEnders actress Gemma McCluskie, and her brother Tony McCluskie, shared a flag in Pelter Street, where she was murdered by him on March 1 and dumped her body in the Regent’s Canal the following day. [2] [3]
