Pudding Mill Lane DLR station is on the Docklands Light Railway (Stratford Branch) in Stratford in the London Borough of Newham. The station is on the boundary between Travelcard Zone 2 and Travelcard Zone 3 which is the closest station to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Old Station
The old station opened 15 January 1996 along side the Great Eastern Main Line. With its platforms being very narrow and having limited space to cope with large crowds (which is why it was shut during the Olympics in 2012). It was closed and a new station was opened in 2014 to allow Crossrail to pass though the site to connect the tunnel portal with the Great Eastern Main Line.
New Station
A new station was built and finally opened in April 2014 to allow the old station to be demolished to make way for Crossrail to connect the portal to the Great Eastern Main Line, which will be all completed in 2018.

The station is Step-Free Access with lifts from train/platform to street level.

There are no toilets available at the station.

The station is not gated.
Transport Connections
Buses
No London Buses Routes serve the station directly but 25 (24-hours), 108 (24-hours), 425, 276 and D8 and Night Routes N205 and N8 serve nearby via Marshgate Lane on Stratford High Street towards 'Stratford' only. There is no way cross the road to reach the bus stop for routes towards 'Bow Church'.
Cycling
Cycle Superhighway CS2 between Stratford and Aldgate also passes nearby on Stratford High Street via Marshgate Lane.
The Greenway also passes nearby between Hackney Wick and Beckton via Newham General Hospital, access to this is planned to be improve in the near future.
Walkers
The Capital Ring long-distance footpath (section 14) passes the station nearby sharing the Greenway with cyclists from Hackney Wick to Beckton District Park.
