Thomas Francis Rider (1843-13 March 1922) was a builder and local politician.

Born in Southwark, he was the son of Thomas Rider and Mary née Putley. A member of the Worshipful Company of Joiners, and of the Worshipful Company of Tylers and Bricklayers, of which he was Master, he was admitted as a Freeman of the City of London in 1872.

He worked with the architect Sir Arthur Blomfield on the restoration of Southwark Cathedral, and a stained glass window in his memory was installed there in the 1920s.[1]
