Thomas Urquhart Scrutton (1828 - 11 September 1896) was a ship-owner and leading lay member of the Congregationalist Church.
He was a member of the London School Board representing Tower Hamlets from 1870-1882.
His son is the subject of a biography 'The Life of Thomas E. Scrutton' by David Foxton [1]
