William Delhi Cornish (6 September 1862 - 12 December 1942) was a brick manufacturer, contractor and local politician.

Born in Abridge, Essex, he was the son of William Cornish, a French polisher, and Susan Elizah nee Woodham.

He moved to Edmonton and became a member of Edmonton Urban District Council (of which he was chairman for 1905-06), and of Middlesex County Council. He represented the county on the Lee Conservancy Board and also sat on the Metropolitan Water Board.

He was awarded the OBE in the 1918 Birthday Honours for his work in recruiting men to fight in the Great war.
